The Giro 34 is a Open 10.2m mono-hull which is used for the race “Giro D’Italia”. It is a simple and fast sailboat that allows quick understanding of the results of a sailor’s actions due to the immediate boat’s reaction.

It is a boat that has a lot of sail (95 m2 at the bow, 160 m2 at the stern) for its size (10.2m), which is equipped with 2 water ballasts (2 x 800 L) and a carbon mast. The boat’s sails and modern fittings/equipment are very efficient.

This allows the boat to reach elevated average speed and to rapidly start planing when sailing downwinds.
